Review of Cuties Mandarins from California

Posted by Darleya

I was at Walmart the other day, and my husband passed me this package of tiny tiny oranges. The first thing out of my mouth was ‘CUTE!’, then I looked at the bag, and saw that they were actually called ‘Cuties’, a brand of Mandarins from California by a company called Sun Pacific.

They’re really tiny, and the claim is that they’re really easy to peel, and guaranteed to be seedless. They’re also very bright, shiny, and clean looking. As in, there aren’t any faults to them.

They were also very inexpensive, for around 25 in the bag, it only cost $2.49. The picture I found doesn’t to them justice as they’re much much smaller.

Upon arrival at home, we immediately had to try them. They did peel very easily, and definitely had no seeds.

As for flavour, they’re a little bit sweeter than Clementines, but were delicious and refreshing. I brought some to work to share, and everyone really liked them. According to Sun Pacific’s website, the Cuties Mandarins are available later than Clementines, through the months of January to April.

These cute little oranges would be perfect for kids snacks, since they’re small and easy to peel.

I’ll be buying them again before the season’s up! Check out their website.
