Review of Avatar 3D

Posted by darleya

James Cameron is a creative genius.

He wrote and directed the Fantasy/Action/Adventure/Drama called Avatar, starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver.

I felt as though I were on Pandora. I can’t begin to tell you how much this movie moved me. It was beautiful and exciting.

The cast and characters were amazing! And that world. The wildlife on Pandora is like nothing else you’ve ever seen in any fantasy movie, game, or storybook. It’s visually stunning, and with 3D technology, you feel like you’re in it. I did not want to leave.

I cannot wait to get my 3D TV so that I can re-watch Avatar in even better 3D quality.

Make sure you go see it in its 3D version, because it’s simply the best. I can say with confidence that this movie is my new favourite movie of all time.

I would love to study James Cameron’s mind, because how he could come up with such creativity is beyond me. He started writing this movie in 1994 but felt that the technology at the time wouldn’t do his story justice. Am I ever glad that he decided to wait.

I’ll give you a few tidbits about the plot without revealing anything. The movie is set in the year 2154 AD, and humans are trying to colonize Pandora, a lush moon of Polyphemus, a gas giant. The humans’ main goal is to obtain a valuable mineral that happens to lie underneath the homeland of the indigenous sentient race called the Na’vi. The story revolves around the life of a paraplegic marine that is dispatched to the planet Pandora on a unique mission where he becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home.

The Na’vi live lives that a naive human would deem primitive, but the more we learn about this race, the more we learn about the unimaginable link between all living creatures on this moon.

Amazing.
