A Fine Frenzy's One Cell in the Sea
A Fine Frenzy is a band solely led by Alyson Sudol from Seattle Washington. She writes all of her music, plays the piano, and sings. Definitely talented. I found out about her from Twitter and am now a follower.
Her music is very captivating and positive. It’s relaxing and peaceful, but also very poetic and witty. I like the line ‘not your everyday circumstance the hummingbird taking coffee with the ants.’
She clearly has a love for nature taking into account her album cover and booklet. She’s a very pleasant musician that isn’t dark or depressing. I mean, she’ll sing about something sad, like a lost lover, but then will say that she wants them to be always happy. I like that.
I enjoy every single song on her album, and not once would I want to skip a song.
Her voice is very pretty. I like the way that she switches to minor tones, it gives you the chills!
Here is a youtube video for ‘Almost Lover’, probably one of her saddest songs.
