Balloon Cup

Balloon Cup  by Kosmos Games is one of the few great two-player board games out there. I have so much fun playing this game with my husband, it’s a great competition; and I’m very competitive.

The game itself is quite simple. It involves cards and little wooden blocks. The basic premise is to finish groupings of cards before the other player does. I won’t get into explaining the game because the rules can be viewed at Board Game Geek.

If you’re trying to find something to do on a rainy afternoon, this little game is perfect. We can play it over and over again because it’s quick, simple, and smart.

This game is perfect for men who really enjoy strategy games but can’t get their wife or girlfriend to give them a chance; they will really have fun with this one. Tell the ladies it’ll take max 15 to 20 minutes to play and they should give it a shot. They’ll then be hooked and want to play again. Especially if they lose.
